What size boots should I order?
Mezcalero Boots are crafted to fit true to standard U.S. shoe sizes. We encourage you to order the size you normally wear. Keep in mind, however, that most of our shoes feature a pointed toe box and tend to be narrow. Check out our fit guide for more information.

I'm between two half sizes. What should I order?
Since most of our boots feature a pointed toe box and tend to be narrow, we suggest you order the larger size.
How do Mezcalero Boots fit compared to other brands?
Our boots fit very similarity to other boot brands. Go with the size that you usually order when you buy boots from other brands.
How can I tell if the boots fit properly?
While our boots should fit snugly, it’s also important that they’re comfortable. If you’re uncomfortable because of how tight they are, we recommend you size up. Keep in mind that your boots, since they are 100% leather, will stretch as you wear them.
I have a high instep. Will Mezcalero Boots work for me?
If you have a high instep, we suggest you size up a size if you’re a man or up a half size if you’re a woman.
I have wide feet.
Fortunately, our boots accommodate wide feet. We recommend that men and women with wide feet size up.
I have narrow feet.
While we don’t make widths narrower than D for men or B for women, many of our customers with narrow feet have reported that they’re very pleased with the way our boots felt. If you have narrow feet, we suggest you order down a half size.
I have bunions.
Our boots are still a great option, even if you have bunions. They’re made of supple, comfortable leather that will naturally stretch.
Do Mezcalero boots have good arch support?
While Mezcalero boots are not specifically designed for flat feet or high arches, their construction, which includes a shank and lemonwood pegging in the arch area, allows for good arch support.
Can Mezcalero boots be worn with an orthotic or special insert?
If you’d like to wear an orthotic or special insert, we recommend you size up a half size to make room for it.
Do you offer mismatched sizes?
We do not offer mismatched sizing for our boots as we only sell them in matching pairs. If you believe your feet are different sizes, we suggest sizing to the larger size and accommodating the smaller foot with an insert.
Are the boots high quality? What makes Mezcalero special?
We offer the highest quality boots on the market, with over 8o years of experience. They’re 100% handmade using premium materials and advanced bootmaking techniques. You’ll find them to be comparable to more expensive boot brands.
How are Mezcalero boots constructed?
Our boots are constructed using the Goodyear Welt construction method, which allows for superior quality, comfort, and longevity. They come with a 100% leather outsole corkbed filling that molds to your feet over time, a traditional leather midsole, an EVA strip for comfort, and bovine glove leather lining. When it comes to the interior, it’s lined with supple bovine leather and an inside out shaft that hides the seams.
Can I order custom boots?
At this time, we do not offer custom boots. While our boots are 100% handmade, we only offer products that you’ll find in our online and retail storefronts. They have already been made and are waiting to be enjoyed.
What are the outsole options?
All of our boots feature a 100% leather outsole constructed with ¾ Goodyear welt and lemonwood pegs. Other outsole options include sneakers and combat boots, made out with a thermal shock construction.
Are Mezcalero insoles removable?
Our insoles feature an EVA strip and glove leather lining attached to the leather midsole. However, our boots also have glued insoles. If you wish (and are sure you’re keeping the boots), you may tear the insoles to make room for a custom orthotic or insert.
Will you be making other sizes, widths, or styles?

The item I want is out of stock. Will you be making more?
If we’re currently out of stock in any sizes or styles featured on the website, we will likely restock them. We may not restock limited edition products and/or collaborations.
How do I order Mezcalero boots?
We sell our boots online or at any of our exclusive boutiques.
What forms of payment do you accept?
We accept all major credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express), PayPal, and Visa, MasterCard, AMEX gift cards, and AfterPay. If you pay via PayPal Express Checkout, note your order will ship to the address link to your PayPal account.
Is my order secure?
We are pleased to employ industry-standard security measures, including Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology and encryption. Rest assured your personal information will be secure with us.
Can I place an order for an item that is out of stock?
While you can’t order an out-of-stock item, you can sign up for an availability notification. This will inform you of when the item is back in stock.
I need to change my order. Help!
If you need to cancel or change anything about an order you have already placed, contact us right away to email@example.com. Since we offer fast shipping, reach out as soon as possible.
How long will it take to receive my order?
If you placed an order, the item is already available for shipment from our warehouse. The vast majority of orders placed before 12pm CST are shipped out within 1 business day!
Our free shipping is either FedEx Ground or USPS First Class and ships from Laredo, Texas, which means it reaches most of the country in 3-6 business days.

Can I pick up my order in person?
Since we use a third-party fulfillment center, we do not offer in-person pickup for online Mezcalero orders. If you’d like, you can purchase your boots at one of our exclusive boutiques. Just be sure to call ahead to find out if it’s in stock.
Is shipping free?
We offer free shipping on all orders! Our free shipping service is either FedEx Ground or USPS First Class. 2-day shipping is available as well for an additional fee. Our boots usually ship 1 to 2 business days after an order has been placed.

Where does Mezcalero ship?
We ship to the 48 U.S. states and the District of Columbia as well as internationally for an additional fee.
Which carrier do you use to ship orders?
We usually use FedEx or USPS to ship out both our Ground orders and Priority orders. If you prefer a different carrier, don’t hesitate to contact us.
Do you ever offer promotions or discounts?
Since our boots are sold at affordable prices and comparable to expensive brands, we do not offer discounts or sales regularly. However, tune in for big sale dates!

Afterpay is a service that allows you to spread the cost of your purchase across four equal, interest-free payments.
How does the payment schedule work?
You’ll be required to make your first payment when you place your Mezcalero Boots order. The remaining three payments will be deducted every two weeks from your payment method of choice.

Do you offer free returns & exchanges?

What is your return policy?
Returns and exchanges are 100% free for items in unworn or unused condition (i.e., original tags, unworn & unwashed, no scuffs on the soles of boots) within 15 days of receipt.
